Where do I start with this post. This is not really a question so much as a statement.

I have seen nothing short of miracles as a result of various peoples experiences with Bowen Technique, but I also know that the technique alone cannot be credited wholly with the amazing stories of  ‘recovery to Health.’ I write the word health with a capital ‘H’ for a reason, but that is  for another article down the road.

One such experience is that of John Coleman.  John used the Bowen Technique as part of his recovery protocol  from Parkinsons and I contacted him recently to ask his permission to publish his story. He kindly granted that permission but with the following provisos;

“Bowen was an important part of my recovery process, but not THE MOST important part. We estimate that 80% of recovery comes from individual effort and dedication to the process. Of the remaining 20%, about 65% was the Aquas and 25% Bowen (i.e about 5% of the whole process). So I wouldn’t want to see statements like “John Coleman recovered using Bowen” or similar. “My shoulders started bothering me. After months of pain that kept getting worse, I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder. I received two cortizone shots in my shoulders and was given exercises to do.
